What We did in Class on 9/2/14
To start off class today Mr. Schick took attendance and then helped anyone that still needed help with their blog. We then talked about the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge and watched Mr. Schick's video. After that we talked about A Message to Garcia. Back during the Spanish American War, President McKinley need to send a message to a man named Garcia who was in Cuba at the time. A man Rowan was called upon to deliver this important message to Garcia. The moral of this story was to "Just do it," Rowan did not ask any questions about delivering this message he just got it done. Now, if you asked someone to do something for you they would ask a lot of questions instead of just getting it done. After we discussed A Message to Garcia we added it to are links section of our blog. The last 5-10 minutes of class we just talked with the people sitting around us.
