Yesterday in class we talked about Globalization, globalization is the connection of different parts of the world. Globalization results in the expansion of international cultural, economic, and political activities. For example Japan has the highest life expectancy rate, because of globalization that has gone down because places like McDonalds and KFC are showing up and causing more health issues. Another example would be The Silk Road. The Silk Road is used for the transportation of goods and is still used today but, because of globalization it is used less because now we can use a mailing system and send what ever we need to around the world and faster. Lastly we talked about the picture of the Kenyan on the cell phone. We discussed what kinds of things we need in order to operate a cell phone and that would be cell phone service, electricity,money, a place to buy the cell phone etc... so globalization is in effect there with getting cell phones and being able to operate them. Therefore these examples so that globalization is expanding all over the world and rapidly.
